A betta is swimming
on the water freeway on his way to work & he stops at the red electric eel. As he takes in another gulp of water through his gills he looks
over & notices a cop (a red white & blue betta) beside him. He looks away, but the cop doesn’t he continues
to stare. Nervous, he takes off when the eel turns green, the cop follows suit. The betta tries to do everything lawfully.
He can’t imagine why the cop is following him. He notices the cop is intently looking at his tail. Then the cop begins
to flare, so the betta stops & rests on a near by decoration. The cop swims up beside him & says: “Sir, did
you know your tail’s expired?”

If bettas could sing, this would be what they'd sing!
Sometimes this betta bowl is an ocean of
fin rot & ich, and in the betta fix
and ich away, no brine shrimp appear
But you and I have our fins always there
to remind us there is a way we can leave
all the medicine behind us!
Volare! Oh, Oh, Oh!
Cantare! Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh!
Lets swim way out to the sea, away from
that madening neighboor
We can swim in glow of the sun in a pond
that I know of were other fishies enjoy peace
mind
Let us leave this vase full of water and all it's
bacteria behind!
Just like sharks of the fin a tuna together we'll
find!
Volare! Oh, Oh, Oh!
Cantare! Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh!
No wonder I constantly flare!

Mollies will play tippi-tippi-tay-tippi-tippi-tay
Like a gay Tarrentella; Lucky betta
When the snails make you sick joost-a like-a chioccilo (chiochilo)
That's a betta!
When you chase your betta down with a big fat green net
You've got an ornery one!
When you think its a crown tail but really its a veil tail,
Signore, scusa me but you see back in old china town that's a betta! That's a betta!
